Mousepad, a pixel before each new line - how ?

Not that this is a serious issue, but anyway...

in Mousepad 2.0.16, please, is there any trick or a compile option
to have a pixel automatically inserted in mousepad's text field 
before each new line ?

To have this: http://img171.imageshack.us/img171/6882/mpad2.png
instead of this: http://img100.imageshack.us/img100/615/mpad1.png

Or, do developers consider adding this option sometimes in the near
future ?
