World clock

Ok, I've scouted out the functionality to add Gnome applets to the Xfce
panel. Now that I've added new locations I can not change 'home'
location by clicking 'Set' button near that locations name. I get:
Failed to set the system timezone
Not Authorized for action org.gnome.clockapplet.mechanism.settimezone
I'm running Gentoo + Xfce here, and have just recompiled the apps that
require gnome-keyring, that appears to be running (it asks for some
password at Xfce startup?!) but to no avail..
$ ps -ef | grep gnome
hinko 4786 1 0 Aug24 ? 00:00:00
/usr/bin/gnome-keyring-daemon --start --foreground --components=secrets
hinko 27958 1 0 01:12 ? 00:00:00
/usr/bin/gnome-keyring-daemon --start --foreground --components=secrets
hinko 28240 1 0 01:15 ? 00:00:00
/usr/libexec/gnome-vfs-daemon
root 28549 1 0 01:20 ? 00:00:00
/usr/libexec/gnome-clock-applet-mechanism
hinko 28562 28561 0 01:20 ? 00:00:00 gnome-pty-helper
hinko 28580 28563 0 01:20 pts/0 00:00:00 grep --colour=auto gnome
Thanx!
