As I see you made often long short commit descriptions, I can't but
stress you to read through http://live.gnome.org/Git/CommitMessages
(iirc, there was a thread on the xfce4-dev m-l that mostly sums up the
same).

PS: the "[tag]" in front of the short description is a bad idea since
it doesn't pass through "git am", instead use "tag: ".
