These are all form wicd, and all since I have arrived at debconf just a
few days ago.

I am running 1.7.0+ds1-5 from Debian testing. I plan to test with it
some more and file a couple bugs (perhaps wishlist), as I also found
today that it will attempt a dhcp request after a failed association...
So it could be telling the user of a failure in a matter of seconds, it
takes a minute or two and announces an "IP" problem.
