Egg timer?

Hi,
   My wife is asking for some sort of egg timer app. Something she
could set for 5, 10, 60, 300 minutes, and then when the time expires
it would put up something on the screen to let he know that time has
expired. She asks that it not _depend_ on sound as an alarm but it's
OK if it makes a sound. Often she has head phones plugged in and she
won't her the sound alarm. She needs a big visual on the screen.

   Is there something like this in the XFCE world?
