What is xfce4-vala?
===================

Xfce4 Vala provides bindings for the Xfce framework.

Vala is a new programming language that aims to bring modern programming
language features to GNOME developers without imposing any additional
runtime requirements and without using a different ABI compared to
applications and libraries written in C.

Release notes for 4.6.0
=======================

This is the first stable release of the Vala bindings. They cover libs
from the current stable version of Xfce 4.6.

Currently there are a few projects written in Vala available in Xfce
that are: the notes plugin, xfmpc and the stopwatch/timing plugin from
Diego Ongaro. All of them are available on git.xfce.org.

Enjoy
Mike
PS: additional thanks to the people that took a glimpse and sent in
corrections
