FAT: IO charset ISO-8859-1 not found?

That pretty much means that you did not export EXO_MOUNT_IOCHARSET in
a place where it was read before Terminal was started. I.e. ~/.profile
is often not read before Xfce is started. I'd suggest hacking
startxfce4.
