Yes, the default shortcut for the XF86Display key is to call "xrandr
--auto" so that the output gets at least detected.

For anything fancier, either use a more complex xrandr command that
matches your need, or write a setting utility that is able to manage
multiple screens in a fancy and useful way (ie, patch welcome ^_~)
