xfce 4.6 wallpaper problem

I installed Xfce 4.6 in my Gentoo and found a problem with wallpapers,
simply I cant use images, no matter what format they have, jpg or png. I
remember I had such problem some time ago, but was that I missed a flag
when compiling. But I have checked now and cant find any image related
flag. Also checked gtk, but nothing. Can somebody give me an idea?
