Xfce4 GVfs Mount is a small application that is meant to mount remote file systems only.
It was initially written because Thunar 1.0 is lacking that feature. The application is
composed of a daemon, a mount dialog, and a panel plugin.
The daemon is started when needed and does the real mount and unmount operations.
The mount dialog is a graphical dialog with default templates for mounting Samba shares
and SFTP remote file systems, but has also a generic form where the location can be
freely typed. The panel plugin is the quick way to mount new remote file systems and
open or unmount existing remote file systems only (attached volumes aren't displayed as
they are already handled with Thunar).
This release 0.0.4 is the first official. Give it a shot or leave it.
Enjoy
