Several instances of xfdesktop running in Xfce 4.6

Xfce version is 4.6 (like you can read from the subject).

I am using Xubuntu Intrepid, that normally uses older version of Xfce,
but I installed the new one from this source:
https://launchpad.net/~jerome-guelfucci/+archive
(I had the configuration from the old Xfce version initially.)

I got rid of the problem (at least temporarily) by logging out from
Xfce and by moving ~/.cache/session to ~/.cache/session.bak
