Auto mounting CD

Not sure if it'll help you, but I had exactly that problem this morning
after a dbus restart due to an upgrade. Basically, I think the
consolekit session was killed and thus I didn't have anymore permission
to mount anything. Re-starting Xfce fixed the problem. If you don't use
policykit/consolekit, that might be that you don't have permission to
use hal stuff. Usually it's related to being part of some group (like
powerdev, netdev, plugdev, …).
