Where do I set screen resolution in xfce4 4.6

Well I'm mostly working again now, I have my 'proper' 1600x1200
resolution back using the DVI-D connection. I didn't actually do
anything much, just kept doing update/upgrade until things seemed to
settle properly.
I do seem to have some issues with X starting up still, lots of odd
warning and error pop-ups before I get to the login screen. I expect
I will get rid of them eventually though.
