How to find an icon used in a menu?

This is the brute force way, but easy to remember. With Thunar set for 
"View as icons", look in:

/usr/share/icons/<your_icon_theme>/<size_category>/apps

Or possibly one of the other folders there. Not all icons come in all 
available sizes, so you might have to search all of them. I always look 
in scalable first.
