gpilot in xfce - how?

I'm trying to get gpilot (palm synchronisation) to work under xfce and
not doing very well.

I have it configured, that was fairly easy, the set up from Evolution
got to the setup GUI/applet.

However I can't see how to actually run the synchronisation process.
gpilotd is running but there's no applet icon anywhere, how can I get
the applet to appear in the xfce panel?
