xfce4-notifyd Pidgin show message

I'm using libnotify pop-ups for Pidgin (along with xfce4-notifyd); when I
click on the "show" button of a notification, nothing happens.

I'd expect the conversation window to become active. Any ideas why it's not?

Pidgin v2.6.4
