"Session and Startup" settings

I'm trying to decipher "Session and Starup" settings, the Help is
obviously a little behind reality.

In particular what populates the Session tab?  It seems to have only a
subset of the things I have running on my system.  Also what does the
Restart Style mean, I have items with "If running" and "Immediately".


Another related question - do I need both Xfce Power Manager *and*
Power Manager in the Application Autostart list?
