Everything is too big in 1600x1200

Some of my settings to force 96dpi with xfce:

~/.Xresources
Xft.antialias: 1
Xft.hinting: 1
Xft.hintstyle: hintfull
Xft.rgba: rgb
Xft.dpi: 96

~/.config/xfce4/Xft.xrdb
Xft.antialias: 1
Xft.hinting: 1
Xft.hintstyle: hintfull

Xft.dpi: 96
