KDE apps' tray icons are not showing on system tray

Well, that used to work with the systray in 4.4.x (thanks to some
specific h{oo,ac}ks) but that was rewritten in 4.6 so maybe that has
not been ported.

You may want to discuss that on xfce4-devel or file a bugzilla,
however if the applications do not follow the standard, I am not sure
it makes sense to support them.

Have you tried on gnome for example?
