xfce-session has open tcp ports listening on 0.0.0.0, why?

.. older and wizer, i now know that there is a file

/etc/xdg/xfce4/xinitrc

which contains a line "$xfcesm", that could be easily changed into
"$xfcesm --disable-tcp"

Is this debian specific or does it come from default distribution of xfce4?
