Where is the option to display window resize info?

I've found that the 'xwit' utility does what I need. I want to resize
an application to a predefined window size. With xwit you just have to
do the following:

xwit -resize 800 600 -select

And then click on the window you want to resize. The above, of course
will resize it to 800x600.

xwit is in the ubuntu repos, it's probably in most others for those interested.
