change default actions in thunar

I have a problem with thunar when I try to open files. Most videos cant 
be played, because mplayer can find them, but if I create an association 
by myself, it works. Also, thunar tries to use mplayer for audio files 
too and I would like to use audacious.
After a long search I havent been able to find the place where the 
associations are stored. Is this possible?
