Accessing Xfce4 via tightvnc

Have you tried x11vnc? It allows you to remotely attach to an existing X
session without having to deal with setting up X servers. It is great if you
just want to access a linux desktop box. I have no issues with XFCE or
Compiz for that matter across x11vnc
