I am not sure if this is even the right list to post this on. I just
figured I would start out here and see what transpires.
Using: FreeBSD-6.3
Xfce4 version 4.4.1 (Xfce 4.4)
I access xfce4 via 'tightvnc' from a WinXP machine. The program is
started from the 'xstartup' file in "$HOME/.vnc". This is the contents
of that file:
**************************************************************
#!/bin/sh
#xrdb $HOME/.Xresources
#xsetroot -solid grey
#xterm -geometry 80x24+10+10 -ls -title "$VNCDESKTOP Desktop" &
#twm &
/usr/local/bin/startxfce4 &
**********************************************************************
The log file created when I start the program has the following error
messages displayed:
24/01/08 05:40:02 Xvnc version TightVNC-1.3.9
24/01/08 05:40:02 Copyright (C) 2000-2007 TightVNC Group

1) I do not have gimp-2.2 installed. I have gimp-2.4 installed. Why is
it looking for gimp-2.2 and how do I stop it from doing so?
2) What is with all of the 'GLX' error messages and how do I correct it
or is it something I can just ignore?
3) Are the 'XRandr' 'XComposite' 'XDamage' and 'XFixes' error messages
something I need to worry about? If so, how do I correct it?
