could be. i've worked around it another way. powerbtn.sh (which is called
by acpid) has the following:
DISPLAY=:0.0 /home/<user>/bin/session-logout.sh
~/bin/session-logout.sh contains the command /usr/bin/xfce4-session-logout,
is owned by my user and is suid. (don't know if that is really necessary,
i'll try next time i have the eeepc running.) this way it works.
