   Thank you very much for the suggestion and step-by-step instructions. I
will make time (Real Soon Now) to read and understand evdev so I can use it
appropriately.

   I have a lot of business related work to accomplish in the next week that
gets my attention before any non-critical systems admininstration work. But,
I will get to it eventually.
