Problem with .desktop files

Hi, this is my firs mail to this list, excuse me if this is not the right
place for it and for my bad english.
I'm having a problem with desktop launchers (*.desktop). When i click them
or try to open them with exo-open, instead of launching the desired app it
opens the .desktop file with mousepad.

I customized  serveral things in this desktop, but can't find where or how
to change this undesired behaviour.

My system is a debian etch, with these versions:
