Well,

It's a Gentoo Linux, and installation overall is done based on
official docs:

    1. Gentoo Linux Handbook: http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/handbook/
handbook-x86.xml
    2. XFCE Configuration Guide: http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/xfce-
config.xml
    3. Gentoo - LTSP Guide: http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/ltsp.xml

synack at xcpmd ~ $ cat /etc/rc.conf | grep -v \^# | grep -v \^$
UNICODE="yes"
EDITOR="/usr/bin/vim"
XSESSION="startxfce4"

synack at xcpmd ~ $ cat /etc/conf.d/xdm | grep -v \^# | grep -v \^$
CHECKVT=7
DISPLAYMANAGER="xdm"

XFCE is the only DE installed on this box, and users have no other
options...
