Ristretto compiles without any errors on my Fedora 8 x86_64 system, but it will 
not open image folders.  This is the error message I receive:

GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_value_get_pointer: assertion `G_VALUE_HOLDS_POINTER 
(value)' failed

glib version is 1.2.10-28
glib2 = 2.14.3-1
glibc = 2.7-2
