xfdesktop defunct processes

Hello all,
	i have problem with processes in launch in xfce desktop, when i close the programs they become zombie
process, here you can view it:

i have to kill the xfdesktop process to close all this zombie processes, my machine is a Gentoo Linux with
kernel 2.6.23 and xfce 4.4.1 but i have the same problem in Debian machines with xfce 4.4.0, what can be the
problem here?
