Have you tried contacting the maintainer about this.

You could try running 'make config' and then 'make config-recursive' to
see if that makes any difference. I doubt it though.

Just for my own morbid curiosity, what do you find so offensive about
'terminal' and 'mousepad'?

As it now stands, anytime that port is rebuilt, those two modules will
be rebuild also.
