XFCE 4.4 and Debian Etch?

Anyway, thi is almost a fake debate: Users wanting to have latest XFCE
could just use another target:
	# apt-get install -t unstable xfce4
or even
	# apt-get install -t experimental xfce4
I dont see any problem for that.
