Any disadvantages of installing Nautilus?

Hi, I am thinking of installing Nautilus onto my barebone xfce desktop.. 
( i like some of the proposed new features, mainly the ability to read & 
edit file metadata information directly from the file browser window.)

I would like to know if there is any disadvantages of installing 
Nautilus & any dependent packages, e.g what sort of effect would it have 
on my xfce desktop in terms of performance?
