Hi. At least I survived. I ran this:
$ killall xfwm4 && afterstep & disown
Rapid changes took place on the screen, I caught a glimpse of error
messages and found myself at the log-in screen. I logged in. afterstep
is not running; xfwm4 is. A fairly mild dose of the usual result I get
from command line activity.
Any ideas? (It transpires that ozganizator works in a different way -
it does not compel windows to open in a particular desktop but relocates
them to the pre-set desktops when you run it. It does work to that
extent - I was expecting an unintended effect.)
Cheers.
