application switching to current workspace

Hi all,

since I upgraded my xfce to 4.4 from 4.2 I noticed a strange behaviour:

if I click a link in Mozilla Thunderbird running on workspace 2, the
Mozilla Firefox running on Workspace 1 is transferred to workspace 2 and
opens the website. Any chance to keep Firefox on the workspace it used
to be and open the website without Firefox getting the focus?
