ANN: xfce4-notes-plugin version 1.6.0 released

I just upgraded to 1.6.1 and when running this script (please look at the
attached file), it fails to migrate my data. These are the errors that pop
up:

liviu at localhost /tmp $ /home/liviu/notes
split: extra operand `(migrate)/'
Try `split --help' for more information.

A subsequent restart of the panel displayed the notes window empty. My
knowledge of bash is quite shaky, so any suggestions are highly
appreciated.
