Neither SLiM, Xpdf, Lyx (QT is its "best" frontend) or R Commander
(based on the tcl/tk toolkit) are GTK+ applications. Still, these are
included, and I believe that it would be a mistake to delete them.
I disagree with the approach of blacklisting non-GTK+ applications
without regard to their usefulness and/or efficiency. The above
mentioned applications are potentially useful - depending on your user
habits -, do not require heavy Gnome/KDE dependencies and are light on
memory usage; hence, deserve their place in such a list. I will not do
any unilateral edits concerning Opera, however please consider
re-adding it to the list.
