It's really hard to tell with so little informations.
1) Try Alt+F2, type "xterm" and click on "run"
2) From the xterm, type
xfce4-panel&
xfdesktop&
Other idea:
1) Ctrl+Alt+F1, log in console mode
2) Rename .config and .cache
mv $HOME/.config $HOME/.config.old
mv $HOME/.cache $HOME/.cache.old
3) Log in in Xfce again
My rough guess is that you somehow broke the running apps and log out
and saved the (broken) session so things don't get restored anymore.
