two days ago i upgraded my xfce from 4.4beta2 to 4.4rc1.
it's nice, but i have some problems now.
for example to run mp3 with xfmedia i must run it as sudo. (xmms for
example can read them with no problem with my normal user) and it was
working right before the upgrade.
an other problem is with the desktop which continues to switch off the
"let xfce manage the desktop" option. that was working right too.
an other strange thing is that now i need to insert my password to
reboot/halt the system. is that supposed to happen? it wasn't required
before..
Thanks,
Lepre
p.s.:
i also posted this yesterday but in a thread instead of creating a new
one, so i post it here again:
Hi, today i upgraded my xubuntu with xfce from 4.4beta2 to 4.4 rc1.
i wonded if it's possible to delete the filesystem, home and trash link
from the desktop (i made my own in the panel).
i searched a bit in the options but i can't find anything related.
Thank you,
Lepre
