wavelan plugin 0.5.2 problem

Before I report a bug, I'd like to make sure I'm not the only
person experiencing this.  I just compiled the newest version
of the wavelan plugin (0.5.2) available here:
   http://goodies.xfce.org/releases/xfce4-wavelan-plugin/
It builds and installs fine, but it does not show up as an option
to be added in the panel's 'add' menu.  Anyone else?
