Possible bug in XKB Layout Switcher?

Hi Everyone ---

 I'm using xfce on FreeBSD 6.0. There seems to be a problem regarding
the XKB Layout Switcher, because the only layout presented to me is
the US layout.
 I need the Brazilian ABNT2 layout. There should be other options.
Where are they? Where /should/ they be? Where does xfce /expect/ them
to be? Should I install something like an "optional" plug-in?
