Hi,
I hope this is the correct mailinglist...
I am installing Slackware 11.0 on an old laptop (Satellite 4030CDS,
300Mhz, 128 Mb, 800x600) so xfce seems to be a good choice for a
destop. Installation of the version that comes standard with slackware
11.0 (4.2.3) went without a hitch.
However, although xfce seems to startup fine, I see the following error message
in the error log:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(==) Log file: "/var/log/Xorg.0.log", Time: Mon Oct 23 02:19:10 2006
(==) Using config file: "/etc/X11/xorg.conf"
Agent pid 799
which: no dbus-launch in (/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/X11R6/bin:/usr/games:/usr/lib/java/bin:/usr/lib/java/jre/bin:.)

** Message: xfce4-panel: Exit
Agent pid 799 killed
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Is this a real problem ? If so, does anyone know what is causing it and
what to do about it ?
TIA
Jerry.
BTW: Is there a solution for the message below ?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
FreeFontPath: FPE "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/misc/" refcount is 2, should be 1; fixing.
