Hey John,
Sounds a bit like this bug:
http://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2405 . Is there a chance you
could upgrade to RC2?
This is a very nasty bug that I really don't want to see in our final
release, but I can't reproduce it myself.
