xfdesktop crashin with glibc error

OK,

Bit of a noob, can you give me instructions on how to do the gdb thing?

I can do the strace xfdektop one.

It's possible (though unlikely) I'm doing something that's not 64-bit
clean in xfdesktop.  Please file a bug report on bugzilla.xfce.org, and
provide a gdb backtrace of where the crash is occurring, using a debug
build of xfdesktop (and preferably of libxfcegui4 and libxfce4util as
well).
