Xfdesktop label-alpha in .gtkrc-2.0

Dear list,

I use the gtkrc addition for xfdesktop to create those "clean" icons on
the desktop without the text-selection-frame posted on this ML...

style "xfdesktop-icon-view" {
    XfdesktopIconView::label-alpha = 0
    fg[NORMAL] = "#000000"
    fg[SELECTED] = "#EE1111"
    fg[ACTIVE] = "#0000ff"
}
widget_class "*XfdesktopIconView*" style "xfdesktop-icon-view"

In this file you can specify different colors for each selection state.
Can this also be done with the label-alpha?

Example (/mock up):
fg[NORMAL][XfdesktopIconView::label-alpha] = 0
fg[SELECTED][XfdesktopIconView::label-alpha] = 70

This way the selected items will be more "visible" and if they have a
longer name, the text overlap on other icons will be readable...

Cheers!
