RC2 Printing System Selection

Just finished installing RC2 (compiled using GUI installer) and the printing system selection utility
still does not see the CUPS server. I remember seeing a post about this being a CUPS "problem"
and that the next RC release would try to work around the CUPS bug.

For the record this is MEPIS system (Really Dapper Dan) with the original CUPS server.
A upgrade does appear to be available ... maybe this will help??
The wife prints no problem in KDE.
