Ok, there is a chance that one of these is leaking X resources. If you
can identify which one, log a bug report and remove it.

- From your descriptio, I guess it's a plugin that "refresh" itself
automatically, so I'd start with xkb plugin , mail watcher, orage clock,
cpugraph, systemload.

Also, you can try xrestop that gives hints of what process uses what X
resources. That could also help identifying the culprit, depending on
the type of resource that leaks (Pixmap, GC, Font, etc.)
