This is what I have in /proc/acpi
localhost acpi # ls -Rl
.:
total 0
-r-------- 1 root root 0 2006-11-03 13:40 dsdt
dr-xr-xr-x 3 root root 0 2006-11-03 13:40 embedded_controller
-r-------- 1 root root 0 2006-11-03 13:40 event
-r-------- 1 root root 0 2006-11-03 13:40 fadt
-r--r--r-- 1 root root 0 2006-11-03 13:40 info
dr-xr-xr-x 2 root root 0 2006-11-03 13:40 power_resource

./embedded_controller:
total 0
dr-xr-xr-x 2 root root 0 2006-11-03 13:40 EC

./embedded_controller/EC:
total 0
-r--r--r-- 1 root root 0 2006-11-03 13:40 info

./power_resource:
total 0

The only files that contained interesting information (to my eyes) were these:
localhost acpi # cat /proc/acpi/info
version: 20060127
localhost EC # cat /proc/acpi/embedded_controller/EC/info
gpe bit: 0x1c
ports: 0x66, 0x62
use global lock: no
