Question about gkrellm in 4.4 beta

I apologize if this question has been raised before.

I love the new "Show Desktop" button on the panel in the 4.4 beta.
However, I have noticed that clicking this button also minimizes any
running instances of gkrellm. Ideally, I'd like gkrellm to stay on the
desktop, even when the other windows are minimized.

Is this an xfce issue or a gkrellm issue? I've made sure to select the
"Do not include in a taskbar" option in gkrellm.
