I can live without transparency/color choice on icon text, but I also 
understand it is appealing to some people.

Just installed xfce4-4.3.90.1-installer.binon FreeBSD with no major 
problems, just needed to soft link the aclocal files.

The speed seems the same as the Xfce4.2 I had before, which is 
pleasant. Thunar starts and runs much quicker than Rox, it provides an 
excellent view quick to read of files, all seems well.

The only thing I initially missed about it, was a default parent icon - 
but the button list of accessed dirs are much more convenient and should 
be easy to get used to for most users :)

left CTRL + even scales icons, so things are laid out very logical.


Only thing which at first seemed unnecessary was the iconification on 
windows when minimized, they're already present in the top taskbar - 
though the icons on desktop seems a good thing because they actually 
give a much better overview with many apps open.
